Excellence In Education Awards
Despite many complex challenges, educationists remain committed to their work and strive to make a positive impact on the society. However, the significant work done by educators can appear to be an unrewarding task, as the underappreciation which they face is a discourse which is often observed from afar, but rarely touched upon. This is due to the fact that the fruits of an educator’s labour are not always immediately apparent, as the impact of their work may not be fully realized until years later.

Why Participate in the Excellence in Education Awards?
The first “Excellence in Education Awards” — held in London back in 2019, followed by “Excellence in Education Awards 2022” held last year in Mauritius — began as an effort by IMT to address this gap in recognition and to honour outstanding educators who have made a significant contribution to their students’ lives. The aim of “Excellence in Education Awards” is to:
- Acknowledge the hard work and dedication of educationalists and educational institutions.
- Inspire others to strive for excellence in their educator careers.
- Encourages educational institutions to continue to innovate and improve their educational programs, leading to better outcomes for their students.
- Provide opportunity for individuals and institutions, across India and internationally, to associate with one another, share best practices, and learn from each other.
- Arrange a platform for educational institutions and educators to showcase their differentiating factor, body of work and innovations which sets them apart from others, and brings them the attention of high quality students and partners in the industry.
Impact of Excellence in Education Awards
The “Excellence in Education Awards” honoured outstanding educators while also providing incentives for them to continue offering excellent education. It enabled them to collaborate with top-tier educational institutions that can provide them with large-scale platforms to reach a wider range of passionate students. Meanwhile, educational institutions with a reputation for excellence were successful in recruiting more passionate and skilled educators who have contributed to making such institutions even more dynamic and effective. It is a delightful cycle of mutual growth that we are very proud to have initiated.
Moreover, the “Excellence in Education Awards” helped institutions create a sense of pride and loyalty among former students and alumnis. It also demostrated the impact of their educational programs on student outcomes, which were useful in creating partnerships.
