Letter from our Trustee
It goes without saying that in all honesty, Intelligent Minds Trust (IMT) was started with the intention to fulfill the baser survival and financial needs of today. However, a collective and genuine intention to support the Nation grew with time, as the organization became self-sufficient. The motive shifted from wanting to be financially stable to doing a philanthropist service more rooted in humanitarian values.
To support the Indian education system, top private school heads, educators and government departments are given due recognition through the medium of Excellence in Education Awards.
IMT’s commitment to honouring and celebrating educators aligns with its core mission of building a brighter future through education. The organization firmly believes that the responsibility of shaping the next generation lies on the capable shoulders of dedicated educators, and thus, it is imperative to recognise and value their invaluable contributions. The 3rd Excellence in Education Awards 2023 provided us with an opportunity to duly acknowledge 37 exceptional school leaders. My heartfelt gratitude to our peers and every esteemed personality connected to IMT. I also bow down to the grace of Almighty for the success of the event.
Moreover, I want to express my deep gratitude to the Ministry of Education officials in the Government of Mauritius, my fellow trustees, esteemed guests from both India and Mauritius, and especially to all the awardees. Without your invaluable contributions, the “Excellence in Education Awards 2023” would not have achieved its remarkable success. I look forward to the possibility of our newly forged connections serving as the bedrock for numerous fruitful collaborations in the years ahead.

Message from Trustee
In the wake of “Excellence in Education Awards 2022” I cannot help but feel a sense of absolute elation when I recall that day, we all came together as a unified front to make this event a success. We strode forward with a sense of hope, keeping all that we had learned during the inception of Intelligent Minds Trust, and the very first ‘Excellence in Education Awards 2019’ held in the British Parliament (U.K.), close to our hearts. Every step that IMT has taken forward is a lesson that we have understood, and built ourselves on.
It is an accumulation of trials, relentless hard work, cooperation of our peers and every esteemed personality connected to IMT, as well as the grace of Almighty, which has constantly fueled our journey on this path and helped us reach one of our many goals, out of which many are yet to be realized. How can I not feel heartfelt gratitude and admiration for everyone that has made this possible!
It has always been a personal pursuit of mine to discover and acknowledge every educator and scholar who contributes to the growth of academia, and invents unexplored pathways to bring education to the doorsteps of those who are hopeful and motivated, yet bereft and lack the means to walk towards the light of knowledge themselves. Everyone who lights the way for those who seek education, deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated. I am delighted that through IMT, I can make a diminutive attempt at doing so.
Furthermore, I am much obliged to the officials of the Ministry of Education, Government of Mauritius, fellow trustees, honored guests from India and Mauritius, as well as all the awardees without whom the “Excellence in Education Awards 2022” could not have reached its spectacular completion. I hope that this connection that we have formed can continue to serve as a foundational origin for many great collaborations in the future as well.
