Mr. Rajesh Bajaj is the Managing Director of PM Publishers Pvt. Ltd., a reputed educational publishing house based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Mr. Bajaj is also the Founder Trustee of Intelligent Minds Trust (IMT). He is a passionate entrepreneur and a renowned philanthropist who genuinely extends himself to make a change in society. With an inner zeal and support system in his family and team as the core strengths, his thoughts and actions are directed towards individual and societal growth. He has a charismatic personality with proven ability and experience in the school education sector. His leadership skills have driven his team immensely to transform into productive contributors to the organisation. He has taken various CSR and welfare initiatives and he firmly believes in inclusive education.

Mrs. Pooja Bajaj is a compassionate, zealous, and nurturing personality who enthusiastically follows and associates with the child care and education, as well as child development.

Mr. Raghav Bajaj is a passionate and motivated individual who takes keen interest in the relevant happenings associated with educational field. Inspired by the futuristic ideologies he works to contribute immensely in the growth of academia in India.

PM Publishers Pvt. Ltd. (PMP)

PM Publishers Pvt. Ltd., established by Mr. Rajesh Bajaj in 2009, has been producing quality textbooks for school children all across India and abroad for over a decade. PM Publishers Pvt. Ltd. visualises children developing as responsible citizens for nation-building. The vision is to provide quality learning and nurture the skills of children. The books are reviewed by various professional experts and school educators before they come into the market. More than 4000 established schools both in India and abroad admire the significant presence of our books, which are supported by the latest technology such as Web portal, AR Apps, Multimedia, Assessment Tools, Question Paper Generator and so on. The organisation incorporates the National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020, NIPUN Bharat 2021, NCF for Foundational Stage 2022, and CBSE guidelines in their well-researched content for various subjects.

Intelligent Minds Trust (IMT)

Intelligent Minds Trust, an ingenious contrivance of the founder-trustee Mr. Rajesh Bajaj, is a non-profit organisation launched on November 29, 2016. Mr. Bajaj is a renowned identity in the field of school education publishing for over a decade. His profound association with the formal academic system through school book publication has brought him closer to the classes (authors/academicians in general) and masses (students and the end-users). It has been an ongoing matter of discourse that innumerable professionals in various fields are silent but impactful workers. Their work either goes unnoticed under the radar or does not get its due recognition due to reasons known best to them. To address this sensitive issue, Mr. Bajaj resolved to launch IMT which brought together different educationists from the field of school education and related peripherals. Moreover, IMT is blessed with an Advisory Board consisting of accomplished members of the education field who actively share their experiences for the betterment of our school system.

Intelligent Minds Trust (IMT), with its vision and doctrine, ‘Quality Education Provides Strong Foundation to Civic Edifice’ believes in upliftment of the society through an effective and accessible school education system. In this pursuit, since its inception, IMT has been awarding notable professionals associated with education through ‘Excellence in Education Awards’.

At the IMT’s 1^stExcellence in Education Awards 2019 which was held in the House of Commons, London, UK, over 60 renowned delegates who participated from India, London, Canada, U.A.E., Doha, Qatar, and Oman were awarded and honoured. The award was hailed on record by both Ms. Seema Malhotra, Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom as well as Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Examination Controller, CBSE, as a noble effort to felicitate the teaching fraternity.

In 2022, the 2^ndExcellence in Education Awards was held on an extravagant scale in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Government of Mauritius. The award function, held on 6^thOctober 2022 at World Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius, honoured over 70 educators and scholars from India and abroad for their notable contributions to the field of education. The awardees of the Excellence in Education Awards 2022 were felicitated by the Chief Guests, Honourable President of Mauritius His Excellency Mr. Prithvirajsing Roopun, GCSK, and the Honourable Vice Prime Minister/ Minister of Education, Tertiary Education, Science & Technology, Government of Mauritius Ms. Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun. The award function also included a ‘Professional Grooming Session’ with the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade/ Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Government of Mauritius, Mr. Alan Ganoo as the special guest in attendance. Prof. Madan Mohan Pant, LMP Education Trust and Former Pro Vice-Chancellor IGNOU and Prof. Saroj Sharma, Chairperson, NIOS, gave presentation in the session.

The other important guests in attendance were Ms. K. Nandini Singla, High Commissioner of India, Port Louis, Mauritius; Ms. Santi Bai Hanoomanjee, Former High Commissioner of Mauritius, India. Dr. Vinod Rao, IAS, Secretary Education, Government of Gujarat, India, held a presentation during the award ceremony.

In 2023, the 3^rd Excellence in Education Awards was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Government of Mauritius. The award function, held on 23rd August 2023 at World Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius, honoured 37 educational professionals worldwide. The awardees of the Excellence in Education Awards 2023 were felicitated by the Chief Guests, Honourable President of Mauritius His Excellency Mr. Prithvirajsing Roopun, G.C.S.K, and the Honourable Vice Prime Minister/ Minister of Education, Tertiary Education, Science & Technology, Government of Mauritius Ms. Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, G.C.S.K.

Philanthropist Services

COVID 19

Mr. Bajaj with other like-minded personalities – Mr. M.S. Rawat,
Chairman, Federation of Public Schools, Delhi; and Dr. Inder Malik,
Chairman, Lovely Public Group of Schools– helped the daily wage
workers in Delhi who did not have money or anything to eat during the Covid 19 pandemic. They distributed ration packets, medicines, oxygen cylinders, and other necessities to around 500 people. This was done over and over on a bimonthly basis till COVID-19 stayed prevalent in the country.

Floods in Srinagar

Mr. Bajaj has an old and profound bond with the valleys of Kashmir
where he has done business and enjoyed vacations. During the floods that devastated Srinagar in the year 2014, he along with Dr. Inder Malik was motivated to provide relief to the people by distributing basic necessities to them with his own hands.

Patronage

Mr. Bajaj believes that education is the key to individual and nation growth and that quality education belongs to all. He is currently sponsoring the education of three children in Gujarat and Delhi state. He started sponsoring the education fee of Bhakti Urvesh bhai Trivedi, currently studying in Class 9 at Benjamin World School, Vadodara, Gujarat. The young student is from a family of three excluding her father who passed away years back. The sole responsibility of the household fell upon her older brother who was unable to support her education due to his low wages. Mr. Bajaj decided to support the bright girl in her educational journey from the academic year 2022-23 and will continue supporting her education till she gets settled and independent to earn.

Another bright student by the name of Kumud Behera studying in Class 8 at Lovely Public School, Delhi was unable to pay his education fee after the untimely demise of his father. His mother and grandmother were struggling to pay for his education. They were desperately hoping for God’s grace and a miracle, which came in the form of a humanitarian gesture from Mr. Bajaj and Mr. M.S. Rawat who decided to pay their ward’s fees so he could continue knitting the quilt of his dreams and future aspirations without any worry.

After all, either it be the Indian Constitution or the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) document, it has been explicitly stated that education is a fundamental right and absolutely necessary for all children regardless of any form of social and economical disparities.

Mr. Bajaj only wishes to reinforce this thought stream and contribute to it by assisting those students who are motivated, excelling, and yet falling behind due to personal struggles. One such young talent is Prachi Bhuvna studying in Class 6 at Lovely Public School, Delhi. Even though she is an academic performer, her father who met with an accident almost a decade ago, and is hence permanently handicapped, could not support her formal education during and after the COVID-19 lockdown. Burdened with the responsibility of the household in such a testing period, while being limited to his wheelchair, he did his best but could not pay his daughter’s school fee. Mr. Bajaj along with Mr. Rawat took responsibility for her formal education and paid her fee, which helped the young and sharp-minded child in continuing her studies with enthusiasm.

Social Welfare

As a social service activity performed by PM Publishers Pvt. Ltd. on the celebratory occasion of Christmas, the team visited Seva Group Foundation, which is an orphanage in Ghaziabad, on 24th December 2022. The PMP team members carried with them some age-appropriate books and various other goodies as gifts for the children, forming a warm and comfortable bond with the ever-cheerful young ones. The PMP staff took delicious cakes and snacks to celebrate Christmas with the children, becoming Santa Clauses for these young shining stars of the orphanage. They conducted some fun activities, including a “Christmas Tree Decoration” competition for which they distributed awards to the winners among the excited children. It indeed kept them engaged and entertained for a long time.

The children of the orphanage had cake cutting ceremony and relished the delectable snacks together in a cheerful environment. Chocolates were also gifted as sweets to all the young ones along with Santa caps. After the gift distribution, it was time to bid farewell, which turned out to be a mixture of warm feelings, as well as sad emotions on both sides. Children have the magical ability to form the quickest and most profound bonds with their innocent affection. The visit encouraged the team to reflect and realise that we must do more for those in need of some help and unconditional kindness. The experience was memorable and indisputably unforgettable for the whole team.

Staff Welfare

Mr. Rajesh Bajaj always extends his support to the staff and their families for their health, education, and personal and professional growth. He extended immense help by providing financial assistance, support for treatment, and motivation to employees and their families during the COVID-19 period. No salaries were deducted and job continuity was maintained during the phase. Providing a secure and safe environment for the employees is always at the top of his priority. Besides, he provided maternity leaves with pay to many of his employees at the time when the company was still in the establishing phase. Mr. Bajaj supported a child’s admission, provided financial aid to build a home, buy an automobile, and financial tokens for the well-being of employees’ families. He also extended help during the financial crisis and struggling periods. He has been a guide to many for better life and growth. Moreover, he provided a platform for exposure, mentored people, provided learning opportunities, and due recognition from time to time.
